(Sam, Molly, Marcus and Michaela) In our investigation we went to Wellington and asked members of the public what new building would they like to see built in Wellington. Our results show that more people wanted a bigger and better food shop, because they are fed up with the same old little shop. The next most wanted building was new clothes shops. Our next wanted building surprised us because this building has been recently renewed, about 6 people said they wanted a new youth centre/place for teenagers. Over all we asked 55 people and we got mixed answers.

We are now colour coding a map of Wellington so we can determine which new shop we should build in Wellington. By colour coding it we can see which shop people suggested but we have already got. A week after asking the public "What new building would you like to see built in Wellington" we went back into Wellington and asked the shops if they make much profit. We asked the shops that the public suggested they wanted but we already had and asked them if they made profit and if it would be relevant to build another.

Our group has now found out that we DO need a new supermarket because not many people like our small supermarkets because of the make .

 

OUR CONCLUSION.

 

We have found out what people actularly think of Wellington and our shops. Some people are happy with what Wellington has got and some people want it to change a bit. We have had a lot of mixed answers from different people. Many people have agreed to wanting a new supermarket because they arent happy with somerfeild or co-op.
